Provide descriptions, examples, and how to meet each goal in an Emergency Department setting. – Exhibit legal and ethical accountability for clinical judgment in professional practice. – Practice leadership by communicating, negotiating, delegating, and facilitating change within the health care system. – Demonstrate responsibility for quality of care and health outcomes through the integration of professional standards into practice. – Work independently, or as a case manager, to promote coordination and continuity of interdisciplinary care. – Demonstrate personal ethics, social responsibility, Christian service, and professional commitment to improving the health of the client. – Apply the knowledge and tools of continuous improvement to advocate and improve health care processes, outcomes, and cost-effectiveness. – Act on behalf of and in concert with the client to advocate for public policy that promotes and protects health.
