This Virtual Practicum Schedule enables preceptors and students to modify student practicum activities in order to minimize disruption to student progress during crisis situations that prohibit in-person contact. Practicum activities can be modified to be completed in a virtual/remote setting. The student should perform activities remotely using a combination of asynchronous and synchronous time. Each week, video or phone conferences lasting at least one hour (synchronous time) between student and preceptor should be organized to define weekly objectives, check progress, and summarize activities.
